The "Saltyhams" from the Narragansett Bay Amateur Radio Club (NBARC) will be out on the bay again for Field Day 2011.

Steve KA1RCI and Brad KA1SVW set sail from the historic Edgewood Yacht Club on Friday June 24th and will be operating as NB1RI / MM from the sailing vessel Bellerophon a 46' ketch, anchored in Potter Cove off Prudence Island on Saturday June 25th and Sunday June 26th.

Also, as in years past, the RI National Guard Air Show will be held the same weekend. From our floating field day location on the north end of Prudence Island we should be able to watch the high speed events in the sky while working contacts on 6, 15, 20 and 40 meters.

This is a public location and visitors are welcome...
